Christmas celebrations-2023
Christmas is neither a time nor a season, but a state of mind.Embracing all things merry and bright, Carmel Convent Sr. Sec.School, Bhel, celebrated Christmas on December 22, 2023, with immense avidity and ardor. An exhilarating yet joyous event was organized to mark the day. The said event commenced with the lighting of the lamp and invoking God's blessings through a prayer song and floral welcome of the principal of the school, Rev. Sr. Ann Joicy, and revered sisters. The program consisted of a plethora of jovial and sprightly performances, viz., dance and Carol singing, by the students of the senior and primary wings, along with felicitations for the students who had won various inter- and intra-school competitions. The occasion was marked by a prayer service aimed at sensitizing the young Carmelites to generate the message that the essence of Christmas lies in awakening the soul to the Almighty’s presence and also rendering true service to Him by serving fellow beings. Rev. Sr. Ann Joicy appreciated the program, wished the entire school ‘Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year' and encouraged students to spread the message of peace, love, and joy and lead a meaningful and productive life.
