Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School BHEL, Bhopal celebrated Teacher's Day on 5th September, 2023 to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and to express gratitude to its faculty members for their relentless hardwork and devotion.The ambience of the school witnessed unusual excitement that was contagious and the décor represented the values and the ethics that teachers inculcate in their students and help them climb the ladder to success.The cabinet of the school shouldered the responsibility for the seamless execution of the event with immaculate perfection.The programme initiated with the lighting of the lamp, a prayer song followed by a soulful dance and a tribute to Dr. S Radhakrishnan who was fondly remembered .His contributions were shared by the faculty as well as by the students.The students accorded a warm welcome to Principal Sr. Joicy and members of the school management by offering them saplings. The students of class 8 presented the special assembly with unparalleled zeal and reverence .A cultural bonanza that included inspiring quotes,thought-provoking poems , inspiring speeches and songs ,elucidating the role of a teacher in transforming an individual to an ideal citizen added fervor to the atmosphere. An enthralling ensemble of classical ,western and fusion dances exuded an energy that was infectious. The Principal of the school Sr Joicy thanked and appreciated teachers for motivating and guiding the students and encouraged them to be impeccable educators with strong personalities , patience and love apart from being the possessors of vast knowledge. Sister further congratulated teachers for their contribution towards the incredible success of the school. She also admired and applauded the students for organising a marvelous programme . Over whelming performances by class 11&12 and the school cabinet unveiled the emotion of gratitude towards teachers for their unflinching support and unmatched contribution in taking Carmel to greater heights and made the occasion a joyous one for all.
