On  March 25,2023.Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School organised an appalling excursion to the Tribal Museum situated in the heart of city, mantled by MP tourism. Over 250 students of grade 9 accompanied by  seven teachers ventured into the informative jaunt. The educational trip conducted during school hours was a rare sight of entire life, culture and traditions of various tribes of MP. The interiors of the place  amazed everyone by its alluring craftsmanship, exquisite collection of artefacts varying from simple tools to the colossul equipments, all marvellously carved and displayed.The grandeur of heritage and the sporting spirit of tribal Indian folk was  manifested by enthralling indoor and outdoor games(Rakku) that were depicted with ingenuity. The domestic and social life of the same was intricately shown meticulously with explicit use of stone, metal, jute etc. Abundant information was jotted down by the students, which was comprehensibly presented with all technicalities.The natural environment was impactfully created with multitude of species and serenity.The expertise of artisans reflected  in every single art piece be it a tiny animal figure or a massive structure of houses, woods and antiques. The assortment of tribal talents was a visual treat.The experience was a thoroughly engaging and enriching one. The students and staff expressed their gratitude towards, Rev. Dr. Sr. Kripa Maria, the Principal, for making them accomplish an ingenious tour.
