A workshop on National curriculum framework- foundational stage (2022 )and mathematics operations
A workshop on National curriculum framework- foundational stage (2022 )and mathematics operations was conducted for teachers of classes KG1 to class 6 on 10th and 11th March 2023 in the auditorium of Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School,BHEL. Teachers of Carmel Ratanpur and Mount Carmel Baghmugalia also attended the workshop. Dr Sandeep Diwakar a renowned Mathematician was the resource person.
The different objectives of the workshop were:
* To equip the teachers with the variety activities in teaching and learning mathematics.
* To strengthen the teaching in planning and visualising lesson.
* To make the subject mathematics more interesting, interactive and enjoyable.
Maths workshop started with the welcome address by Mrs. Anu Joyson of Carmel BHEL, and floral welcome by the Vice Principal Sr.Joyce.
The session was made interactive with the incorporation of entertaining games, activities on different mathematical concepts like numbers,addition subtraction, and multiplication. The workshop was highly informative, constructive and interactive. Dr. Sr. Kripa the Principal of Carmel BHEL appreciated the credibility and innovative skills of the resource person and sincere cooperation of the members of Carmel Fraternity. Exhorting the participants to create a Mathematical Vibe in their own daily class rooms, the session came to a closure.
