INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY AT CARMEL CONVENT SCHOOL BHEL
Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, BHEL commemorated the International Women’s Day with fervour as also enthused the festive spirit of Holi on March6, 2023.To cherish and honour the radiant spirit of womanhood, the staff and students gathered for an exuberant celebration . A special assembly was presented by the students of XII that began with a prayer song followed by enthralling inspirational songs, dance drama and thoughts , emphasizing upon women empowerment in the society and the need to acknowledge the contribution of women fraternity to the society and globally. The theme of the day for this year' Digit - All Innovation And Technology For Gender Equality' was elaborated impactfully to arouse strength and fanaticism in women. The message of the festival that is eradication of evil and our inhibitions to restore harmony with positive hues, was efficacioualy delivered. The Principal of the school Rev. Dr. Sr. Kripa Maria congratulated everyone and enlightened the gathering to fight against stereotypes through Mother Mary's Life changing anecdote that motivated all to create awareness towards the prejudice and bias prevalent against women across the globe and work towards gender equality for the establishment of a healthy, just and dignified society full of accomplished women.
