SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON CHAVARA DAY AT CARMEL , BHEL
Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School BHEL commemorated St. Chavara's Day with fervour and piety. The programme was presented through a special assembly by the students of VI std.The commencement of the same was done with a prayer song followed by students' quoting of inspirational sayings by our Reverend Saint and a skit based on the values he upheld, particularly the social equality with a message for respecting rights of the downtrodden. The beloved Saint had toiled hard as an educationist, visionary and reformer, was efficaciously expressed by the students. A vivacious dance performance manifested the exaltation of the day. Principal Rev. Dr. Sr. Kripa enlightened the assemblage by her words of inspiration from St. Chavara's exemplary life .She also appreciated the students who brought out the importance of the day exuberantly. A short Prize distribution ceremony was organised for a few competitions conducted at school highlighting St. Euphrasia's and St. Chavara's lessons for life. The occasion was wrapped up with the national anthem.
