Food waste is the one of the biggest concern in the world.Given the fact,more than 20 million people in India are below the poverty line,it is disappointing statistics to how much food is wasted in India.The students of entire class II C conducted a prayer service on the topic Do Not Waste Food. Prayer service began with a reading from the Holy Book by our head mistress Sr.Vineetha. After the reading from the Holy Bible, the students spoke thoughts on Importance of Food.After the quotes,The children presented a beautiful skit which gave a very strong message on take what and how much you need to eat. Skit was presented to explain that by wasting food,we are wasting lot of resources and also causing harm to the  needy and environment as well.Skit well illustrated that most of the people don’t realize how much food they throw away every day. A beautiful dance was also presented by all the students of class II C to show the happiness of sharing food to the needy. All the students actively participated in the prayer service. 

Conclusion of our Special Assembly-Do Not Waste Food As there are so many needy hands are waiting for it and sleeping with empty stomach And , We get the food easily, So we waste it without realizing it for a minute. So, Let’s make it a habit of giving the leftovers to the hunger every night before we fall asleep.
