The students of class III F conducted special assembly on the topic “Children’s Day” Date-17/11/22. The special assembly began with the blessings showered by our headmistress Sr. Vineeta from the Holy Scripture. A brief introduction was given as to why we celebrate Children’s day on 14^th of Nov. Some quotes of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru were read by the students. It highlighted the importance of Children’s day as he was fond of children and was called “Chacha Nehru” by them. After the quotes, the students sang a beautiful song to pay tribute and homage to our India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his birth anniversary. All the students actively participated in the prayer service with much enthusiasm. A mesmerizing dance was also performed by a group of students.

At last, the special assembly was concluded with a beautiful message that children are the real future of the country. So everyone should understand their responsibility towards their children and the importance of Children’s day celebration. The assembly ended with the pledge followed by National Anthem.
