Carmel  Convent  School,  BHEL , celebrated Green Diwali as a part of special  assembly  on 21st  October  2022.  An eco friendly way of celebrating the festival without harming the environment, specially without burning  crackers. Special  assembly  included prayer song and dance  with a  skit  based on  Green Diwali, a concept portraying the harmful effects of burning crackers along with  sound pollution , followed by some thoughts giving the message to save environment and every living being by not burning the crackers. Second part of the assembly was based on celebrating a meaningful Diwali by helping the needy and  poor, buying things from local vendors,  from those who really are in need of it.

The assembly concluded with  a  celebration dance and address by  Respected Principal Dr Sr. Kripa on the importance  of the feast followed  by the National Anthem.
