SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON GANDHI JAYANTI
Mahatma Gandhi was one of the greatest leaders of Indian independence movement and was popular for his non-violent means. He became an active part of the Indian freedom struggle in early 20th century. Many important movements of resistance against the British colonial rule, like 'Non-cooperation Movement', 'Salt March', 'Quit India Movement', etc were led by him.
The students of class VIII E presented their s special assembly on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, they highlighted the Gandhian Ideals and Idealogies. They focussed on the relevance of it in today's scenario. A lyrical ballad describing his life events enthralled the audience. Principal Dr. Sr. Kripa Maria, lauded the efforts of the students for their presentation and reminded the students to be honest and sincere in their efforts in whatever they do as according to Mahatma Gandhi truth and honesty should be our way of life.
