CARMEL CONVENT SENIOR SECONDARY
SCHOOL BHEL organized an educational trip through a visit to the Regional
Museum of Natural History. The place is
an awesome assemblage of the various hues of Art, Science, History, Archaeology
and amazing discoveries. With keen
supervision and support of the Principal
Dr. Sr. Kripa this trip became a grand success. Under the guidance of
the Vice Principal Sr. Joicy, nearly 370 students visited the museum during
school hours escorted by eight of the staff members. The exuberant students started their journey
by exploring the first out of six areas i.e. the rivers of India, specially MP
and the aquatic life. The energetic kids
then ventured into the ‘Wilderness in
the Dark’ section and were overwhelmed.
The next in the trail were the Skeleton section, the Discovery section,
the Nature’s Network and last but not the least was a documentary that was an
assortment of life in various forms surrounding us, adventures of the riverine
Chambal and the world of butterflies that fascinated each one present
there. The place being an amazing representation
of the culmination of nature’s vivacity, showcasing scientific discoveries and
anthropological aspects; brings forth a first hand experience of our rich heritage. The trip was engagingly informative and
delightful.
