Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School,BHEL organised a seminar on the topic "Teaching and Learning English Language" for Primary and Kindergarten teachers, on 25th June. Dr. Jesudoss Jayapaul was the resource person of the day. The resource person was welcomed by the Principal Rev. Dr. Sr. Kripa. Dr. Jesudoss started the session mentioning the influence of Greek, Latin, Anglo Saxon and French language on English. He discussed a number of English words and explained why there are such differences between their spelling and their pronunciation.
Dr. Jesudoss gave an insight about the three C's required to teach English language and also discussed about the 5 P's to teach English Grammar. An activity was organised by the resource person on How to teach - Adjectives. It was very interesting wherein the members participated actively.
